G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana, successfully conducted the Mid Semester Tests (MST) for LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. classes for the July–December semester from 23 October 2026 to 29 October 2026 under the able guidance of Dr. Shweta Dhand, Officiating Principal. The examinations were conducted by the Mid Semester Test Committee with utmost precision, fairness and objectivity to ensure transparency and maintain the academic credibility of the institution. The tests were conducted as per the curriculum and the annual academic calendar of the Institute and constituted an important component of the students’ Internal Assessment.The Mid Semester Tests served multiple academic purposes. Besides assessing the students’ level of preparation and understanding of the syllabus covered, the examinations provided students with an opportunity to develop effective time-management and examination skills and prepare systematically for their final examinations. Dr. Shweta Dhand appreciated the dedicated efforts and hard work of the MST Committee members, Ms. Baljit Kaur and Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Assistant Professor of Laws, for ensuring the smooth, fair and systematic conduct of the examinations.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
