The Women’s Day was celebrated through an Entrepreneurship Skill Programme on 12.03.2026 at GHG Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana under the aegis of SGHG Ujagar Hari Trust and the able guidance of Officiating Principal Prof. Dr. Shweta Dhand.
The programme aimed to promote entrepreneurial skills among students. Participants installed stalls displaying items such as art and craft, food items, healthy drinks, mehendi, bakery products, and other creative products. Faculty members and students from sister institutes also attended the programme. A token of appreciation was presented to all the participants.
The stalls were evaluated by Dr. Amandeep Kaur (Principal, GHG Harparkash College of Education) and Dr. G. Pavan Kumar (Principal, GHG Institute of Pharmacy). The Principals of sister institutions—Dr. Satinder Kaur (Principal, Khalsa College for Women), Mrs. Daljit Kaur (Principal, Sikh Girls Senior Secondary School) and Ms. Sandeep Kaur (Principal, GHG Public Senior Secondary School)—were also present on the occasion.

The programme proved to be a great learning experience for the students and successfully promoted the spirit of entrepreneurship among them.

The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
