G.H.GINSTITUTE OF LAW SIDHWAN KHURD, LUDHIANA ORGANISED 7 DAYS NSS CAMP ( From 29 Jan 2026 to 5th Feb 2026)The NSS Unit of G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd organised the first day of its seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp on 29 January 2026 under the guidance of the management and the Officiating Principal, Dr. Shweta Dhand. The camp was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Programme Officer, NSS, and Dr. Neelam Rani, College In-charge, NSS.The inaugural ceremony was graced by Officiating Principal Dr. Shweta Dhand and Trust Member S. Harmail Singh Sidhu, who formally inaugurated the camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Dr. Shweta Dhand welcomed the NSS volunteers and motivated them to actively participate in the camp activities. Trust Member S. Harmail Singh Sidhu addressed the volunteers and encouraged them to uphold moral values, integrity, discipline, and social responsibility, inspiring them to become responsible and socially conscious citizens. The programme began on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem. Dr. Jaswinder, Vice-Principal, was also present on the occasion.The first day of the camp commenced with Yoga and Physical Training (PT) sessions, which were conducted to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and discipline among the NSS volunteers. The volunteers actively participated in the session with enthusiasm and commitment. On the first day, various committees were formed with student representatives, and duties were assigned to ensure the smooth conduct of camp activities. The volunteers were briefed about the objectives of the camp and the NSS theme “Viksit Bharat, Nasha Mukt Samaj”, emphasizing the importance of building a developed and drug-free society.The first day concluded with a sense of enthusiasm, unity, and commitment among the volunteers to actively engage in social service throughout the camp.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
