Under the aegis of SGHG Ujagar Hari Trust and the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand, Officiating Principal, the NSS Unit and Day Celebration Committee of GHG Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana, celebrated Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with great enthusiasm, respect, and patriotic fervour. The celebration was organized on the theme “150 Years of Vande Mataram,” reflecting national unity and commemorating the sacrifices made for the freedom of the nation.As part of the celebrations, a Caption Contest was organized to encourage students to creatively express their understanding of patriotism, constitutional values, and the spirit of the Indian Republic in consonance with the theme. *The following students secured positions in the competition:* 1. The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
