Hostel Rules

Hostel is a safe heaven for our students. College hostel has well ventilized & well-furnished A.C and cooler rooms with lush green lawns. The students are required to bring the following items along with them for their stay in the hostel after their admission to the institute.

9 AM to 4 PM

Admission to the hostel will be done at the beginning of the academic session.
A student may be refused admission to hostel if her conduct during her earlier stay in hostel was not satisfactory or she was a defaulter.
A student having any kind of medical problem should inform the authority in-charge before getting admission in the hostel.
Day scholars are not eligible for admission to the hostel.
The hostlers will have to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the Warden /Rector and directions issued by the Principal, Strict disciplinary action including expulsion may be ordered at a short notice and without assigning any reason there of.
Only those visitors are allowed to meet their wards who possess authentic identity card and whose names written in the visitor's list supplied to the college by the parents /guardian of the students.
Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight at the hostel premises.
The leave application will not be accepted until it is signed by the parents guardian.
Leave from the hostel must invariably be got sanctioned from the hostel Warden/ Principal before leaving the college premises. An entry to this effect should also be made in the register maintained for this purpose.
No student shall be allowed to travel alone unless it has been specially mentioned by her parents/guardian in the visitor's form.
Students are expected to stick to the study hours strictly and also observe the timings fixed for meals, games etc.
Boarders should be properly dressed while going to common room, dining hall or hostel office, failing which it will be considered an offence and a fine may be imposed as decided by the Warden.
No boarder will do any damage to the hostel property and shall be responsible for the safety of the furniture / other articles given to her. Furniture is not to be removed from one room to another.
No boarder shall indulge in any amusement that disturbs others.
Boarders are not allowed to use electric appliances like heater, electric kettle, press etc.
Boarders are advised not to keep jewelry, excess currency or other valuables with them in hostel. They can open their saving account in the Local Bank attached with the college.
Boarders can't hold any kind of meeting without the permission of Principal.
It is compulsory for the boarders to attend all college functions.
Any student found indulging in taking intoxicants, drugs and any such banned materials shall be expelled straight way from the hostel. They shall not be given admission in hostel in future.
Any student opening a room breaking the hostel lock or seal or window-panes etc. shall be liable to a minimum fine of Rs. 500/-. In case this kind of conduct is repeated, students will be liable for expulsion from the hostel.
The Warden should be immediately informed by the room-mate if anyone is ill in the room.
Before leaving the hostel, every student shall obtain clearance from the Warden and personally hand over the charge of the room and hostel property to the Chowkidar on duty.
The rents of the hostel can be decreased or increased according to the decision of the management.
Hostel fee once taken won't be refunded.
The students are liable to pay the dues till the time they receive in writing from Principal to vacate the hostel.
In case of non-payment of dues in time or violation of any hostel rule by boarder, the Warden may get her room locked or opened for possession without any liability whatsoever.

No Admit Card for examination will be issued to the resident student unless she/he produces a “No
Dues Certificate” from hostel. In case of emergency after the college hours students may approach the Principal through the hostel Warden
