Important Instructions For The Students

  • The student must read the notice board daily for getting day to day information. (Same is also provided through Whatsapp Group also.
  • Every student shall remain in college campus during the study hours and shall not leave the college campus without the prior permission of the Principal' or authorized person.
  • The students shall be responsible for maintenance of cleanliness in and around the college. Spoiling/defacing of college property/building shall be penalized.
  • All the students are expected to maintain a clean, healthy and peaceful environment in the college campus
  • All the students must be in proper uniform on every Saturday and on specific occasions. .
  • A fine shall be imposed on the students violating the rule 3 & 5.

Mid Semester Test Rules

  • The eligibility of the students to appear in the Final Examination is based on the results of Mid Semester Exams.
  • It is compulsory for every student to appear in Mid Semester Exams.
  • A fine of Rs. 500/- for each paper shall be imposed on every student, who will remain absent in any paper.
  • Leave for being absent due to illness during the MST will be sanctioned only if a Medical Certificate from the authorised Practitioner is attached with it. Applications received after the completion of the examination will not be entertained.
  • The result of mid semester exam will be communicated to the parents/guardians by post/email/Whatsapp Group.
  • Use of mobile phone or any other electronic gadget is strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Internal Assessment in all the subjects will be based on performance in the Mid Semester Exams/Class Tests/Class behaviour/Assignment/Presentation and Attendance.

Say "No" to Ragging

  • As per the Hon'ble Supreme Court judgement in Vishwa Jagriti Mission v/s Central Government and others (2001) 6 SCC. 577 and again according to direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in University of Kerela v/s. Council, Principal's, Colleges and ors. in Kerala In Slp No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16-05-2007) ragging within or outside any educational institution is strictly prohibited
  • 'Ragging' means any conduct of any student or students whether by words spoken or written by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student or indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause any more hardship or psychological harm, or to raise fear or apprehension there of in any fresher or any other student.
  • The University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi has also taken a stern view of the problem of ragging and has also issued the necessary guidelines to curb the menace of ragging.
  • In accordance to these guidelines our institution maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against ragging. Every year the students are required to fill anti ragging forms and strict action is taken if students are found indulging in any such activity. We are committed to foster a welcoming, respectful, and secure environment for all students.

Miscellaneous

  • All the documents or certificates as prescribed by the University, for the attestation purpose should be attested or notarized, as the case may be, by the competent authority.
  • Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the District Courts Ludhiana only
