DGP (Retd.)
President SGHGU Hari Trust
It bears testimony to the commitment and dedication of our faculty and Principal that inspite of being the youngest sibling of our centenarian group of educational institutions, this institute has earned an enviable reputation through its commitment to imparting professional academic excellence (both theoretical and practical) besides emphasizing exposure to extra curricular activities for attainment of physical fitness, stamina and all round balanced personality development. No wonder, year after year our students have not only found places in the top ten positions of the Punjab University but also fared brilliantly in the Judicial Services.
We are essentially a Charitable Group of Institutions with no profit motive, managed by a Trust comprising of trustees with no personal stake rendering selfless and gratituous service to our community. It shall be our endevour that you not only thoroughly enjoy your academic experience in this Institute, but always carry pleasant and nostalgic memories of your Alma Mater’s idyllic, pollution-free and salubrious surroundings coupled with its modern facilities and amenities.
Believing in the tenet of ‘rest is rust’, our Management and team of professional faculty is constantly engaged in further improving the existing infrastructure, acquiring new aids to modern teaching methods, and exposing you all to a higher level of legal luminaries and jurists as guest lecturers as part of our overall effort to enrich your academic experience at G.H.G. Institute of Law. We have expanded our institute to accommodate male students from the session 2022-23 to tailor our teaching experience more in line with the actual working conditions that our students will subsequently be operating in. With Waheguru’s grace we also hope to introduce the LLM course from the forth coming session onwards, for benefit of those students who wish to obtain higher academic qualification in the present competitive employment market.
May Waheguru bless you all with a bright future that makes you, your parents, alma mater and society, proud of your achievements
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005.
