G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, is pleased to share that on Dated 8 October 2026 Jasmine Kaur, a student of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), 9th Semester, secured the Third Prize in the Face Painting Competition at the PCTE Inter-College Competition, which witnessed approximately ten participants. Srishti Magan, also a student of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), 9th Semester, accompanied her as the accompanist.The theme, “AI and Humanity,” was announced on the spot. Jasmine creatively portrayed a robot on one half of the face and a human reading newspapers and books on the other, conveying that Artificial Intelligence should complement, rather than overpower, human intellect.
This achievement was made possible through the encouragement and support of the worthy Principal, Prif. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand, and faculty members Dr. Jaspal Kaur and Dr. Lovely Sharma, whose motivation inspired Jasmine to showcase her creativity and talent. Their continued encouragement reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering holistic development, artistic expression, and intellectual growth among its students.G.H.G. The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
