The Eco Club of G.H.G. Institute of Law brought laurels to the institution by receiving an Excellence Award during an Orientation Workshop organized by Panjab University under the Environmental Education Programme. The award was conferred in recognition of the institution’s dedicated efforts towards promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and eco-friendly practices among students and society. Out of 54 Colleges affiliated to Panjab University including University itself, 10 Eco clubs are selected for this prestigious award.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand expressed immense pride over the achievement and stated that the college was honored with a certificate and medal for its continuous contribution towards environmental conservation and sustainable development initiatives.The award was presented by D.U.I. The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
