G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, under the aegis of Shri Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust, organized a vibrant farewell party titled “Jashn-e-Bahara” on 18th April 2026 in the college premises under the guidance of Officiating Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand. The event was successfully conducted under the supervision of Event Incharges Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Ms. Neha Minocha, Ms. Sarbjit Kaur and Ms. Kriti Garg, who also served as judges and appreciated the talent and enthusiasm displayed by the students.
The function was organized especially for the outgoing batches of B.A. LL.B. 10th semester and LL.B. 6th semester students. The junior students extended a heartfelt and emotional farewell to their seniors, making the occasion memorable and meaningful.
The event featured a lively cultural programme comprising energetic dance performances. The programme also included modelling rounds, a talent hunt, and interactive question-answer sessions, where students confidently showcased their talents, creativity, and expressions.
The stage was efficiently coordinated by Avneet Kaur and Roshni of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) 8th semester.
In the B.A. LL.B. 10th semester modelling competition, Dakshita Jain was crowned “Miss Farewell,” Malika secured the position of First Runner Up, and Jyoti Kumari was declared Second Runner Up. Other titles included Khushpreet Kaur as “Beautiful Smile,” Manpreet Kaur as “Miss Elegant,” Prerna as “Miss Creative,” and Chahakpreet Kaur as “Miss Graceful.”
Among the LL.B. 6th semester students, Akarshit Kapoor won the title of “Mr. Fresher,” Akhilesh was declared First Runner Up, and Yatish secured the position of Second Runner Up, while Aryan received the title of “Mr. Handsome.” Among the female participants, Radhika was crowned “Miss Fresher,” Mansi Tuli was First Runner Up, and Tarlochan Kaur was declared Second Runner Up. Omica and Swaranlata were awarded the titles of “Miss Graceful” and “Beautiful Smile,” respectively.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
