Criminal MOOT EXAM conducted by G.H.G Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd (As a part LLB, 6th semester curriculum).G.H.G. INSTITUTE OF LAW running under the patronage of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd organized A CRIMINAL MOOT Exam which is a part of LLB (Hons.) 6th semester Curriculum on 28th March 2026 under the able guidance of Officiating Principal Dr. Shweta Dhand. A total of 25 students gave their moot presentations. Judges of this moot exam were Dr. Neelam (Associate professor in laws), Ms. Harvinder Kaur (Associate Professor in Laws) and Ms. Mehak gupta(Assistant Professor in Laws).Every year a civil and a criminal moot is conducted by the Institution which is compulsory for the LLB 6th semester. All of the students submitted their moot memorials to the Judges and gave their presentations in a well prepared manner. ThisExam is conducted to check the practical knowledge of students, to make them aware about the court procedures and ethics. Moot exam is a way to groom the students as legal professionals.Off. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand appreciated the hard work of all the students and wished them best for their future.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
