Library Rules

The richness of an institute lies in its well-stocked & resourced library which is its soul. Our study resource includes choicest publications of reference books, law reports, digest, national & international journals manuals, periodicals, magazines & newspapers. Library subscribes eresources like NLIST, Live Law, NDLI, SCC. The institute has plans to digitize its own publications & treaties by the legal fraternity.

The use of library is subject to the following rules

Library will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Books will be issued to the members of the library only.
No book will be issued without library card.
Three books can be issued to one student for 14 days.
Proper discipline & silence is required in the library.
Borrowers are expected to keep books clean & in good order. Don't write your name or any other matter on the library books, magazines, walls & furniture.
A fine of 2/- per day till completion of seven days and 5/- per day from 8th day onwards will be charged for overdue books. In case, any student has lost or cause damage to any book, he/ she has to replace it by new book.
More demanded books can be converted into reference books.
Reference books will not be issued.
Journals/Magazines & Newspapers will be issued only for photocopy.
Physical stock verification of the college library will be done during summer vacation every year. All the books will be recalled three weeks before the stock taking begins. After stocktaking a report shall be sent to the Principal.
Before leaving the college, students have to obtain No-Dues Certificate signed from the Librarian.
The students are issued books during examination on the payment of security with special permission of the Principal & Library Committee.
Access to library is available even during semester examinations, summer/ winter vacations.
The students can be issued books from BOOK BANK for complete semester
