Mock Parliament organized at GHG  Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd.

 IQAC of  GHG Institute of  Law, Sidhwan Khurd organized a  mock Parliament on 12th May 2022 in which thirty two girl students participated as Indian Parliamentarians under the guidance of  the College Director, Dr. S K Nayak and Officiating Principal Dr. Shweta Dhand. This mock parliament was conducted on the topic 'Farmers Bill, 2020', in which sixteen students represented  BJP, eight students represented Indian National Congress, two  represented Shiromani Akali Dal, two students represented AAP and four  students represented Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, BSP, Shiv Sena respectively.  The students presented meaningful discussions in the mock parliament on various aspects related to the Kisan Bill.  Everyone played their character well.
Varsha of B.A.LL.B. 6th Semester was selected as  Best Parliamentarian,  Aanchal Kapoor  of B.A.LL.B. 8th Semester and Shaina of B.A.LL.B. 4th Semester were given the award of best delegates, Sargun of B.A.LL.B. 4th Semester and Shreya of B.A.LL.B. 10th Sem won the award  of  best Speaker, Gurdeep of  B.A.LL.B. 6th Semester won the best attire award whereas the best debater award was  given to Manreet Kaur and Nandini Tiwari of B.A.LL.B 6th Semester.
   Assistant Professors Neelam Rani, Mandeep Kashyap and Charu Joshi acted as the jury of the competition.  Dr. Jaswinder acted as  speaker. The  college students - Lovleen Joshi, Noordeep, Isha and Ayusha conducted the stage skilfully.  The College teachers and students were  also present in this competition. The college Director motivated the organizers  (Ms Harpreet Kaur, Ms. Manpreet Kaur, Mr. Nishant Sharma and Ms Neha)to conduct such events in future also.
