Constitution Day is celebrated on November 26th to honor the adoption of India’s Constitution in 1949. It emphasizes the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, recognizing Dr. BR Ambedkar’s contribution and advocating for civic engagement in building a democratic and inclusive society. So, Under the able guidance of S.B.S. Sidhu, IPS (Retd.DGP), President of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust, Dr. Shweta Dhand (Officiating Principal), Dr. Jaswinder (Vice – Principal), IQAC and Day Celebration Committee of GHG Institute of law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana celebrated the Constitution Day by conducting the Documentary session on “Why do we celebrate the Constitution Day”.This session enlightened the minds of students with the history of formation, values and importance of constitution. Niranjan Singh from B.A.LL.B( Hons.) 5th Semester played the duty of stage Co-ordinator.
At the end, Off. Principal, Dr. Shweta Dhand and Dr. Jaswinder (Vice – Principal), appreciated the efforts of all the students and Incharges and promised to organize such events in the future also.

The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
