The two-day 2nd Padma Shri Bibi Harprakash Kaur Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2026 (National Round) concluded successfully at G.H.G. Institute of Law under the aegis of SGHG Ujagar Hari Trust on 28th February and 1st March 2026.The event was organized by the Moot Court Committee under the leadership of President S. Kripal Singh Bhathal, Secretary S. Pritam Singh Johal (PCS ADCG Retd.), Manager Dr. G.S. Grewal, Members S. Birinder Singh Sidhu, Dr. Harmail Singh Sidhu, S. Devinder Singh Mann, S. Jarnail Singh Dhillon, and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand. The competition was coordinated by Dr. Neelam, Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Ms. Neha Minocha, and Ms. Charu Joshi.A total of 34 teams (102 participants) from across the country competed; 12 advanced to the semi-finals and 4 reached the finals. The semi-final judges were Dr. Ivneet Walia, Prof. (Dr.) Aarti Puri, Mr. Ravneet Singh Joshi, Advocate Vipin Saggar, Advocate Gagan Bedi, and Advocate Karan Singh. The final round was adjudged by Justice Mahavir Singh Chauhan (Retd.), Ms. Preeti Sahni, and Prof. Rajinder Kaur.GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur won the competition (₹21,000), while PUSSGRC, Hoshiarpur secured the Runner-up position (₹11,000). Best Mooter award went to Prithvi Raj (Amity University Mohali) (₹5,100), and Best Memorial was awarded to Faculty of Law, Guru Nanak Dev University (₹5,100). Consolation prizes were secured by UIL, PURC, Ludhiana and Amity University Mohali.In his concluding address, Secretary S. Pritam Singh Johal congratulated the winners and thanked the judges. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand appreciated the coordinators and commended student coordinators Dakshita Jain, Prabhjot Kaur, Avneet Kaur, Adhyayan, and Jasmeet Singh. The proceedings were efficiently conducted by Ms. Charu Joshi.
