The Investiture Ceremony at G H G Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, was held with great enthusiasm and solemnity on February 23, 2026, under the able guidance of Officiating Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected members of the Student Council.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was S. Harmail Singh Sidhu, Trust Member, SGHG Ujagar Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd. He graced the event with his esteemed presence and inspired the students with his motivating words.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand congratulated the newly appointed council members and encouraged them to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication, and integrity.
In his address, Chief Guest S. Harmail Singh Sidhu appreciated the efforts of the institute in nurturing leadership qualities among students.
On the occasion, cash prizes were also distributed to 23 students who actively participated in the cultural activities organized during the Orientation and Induction Programme. Certificates were presented to NSS volunteers who successfully participated in the 7-day NSS Camp, as well as to the students who took part in the March Past held at the 66th Annual Athletic Meet 2026.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by the Stage Coordinator Dr. Jaspal Kaur, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
