The GHG Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana successfully organized the *Pre-Trials* for the Selection of Finals of the 66th Annual Sports Day on *05.02.2026* at the Ground Stadium. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and was conducted in a well-organized and disciplined manner.The pre-trials included a variety of track and field events such as Long Jump, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, and Shot Put, along with several fun and recreational games like Spoon Potato Race, Three-Leg Race, and other similar activities. These events provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their athletic abilities and competitive spirit.The primary objective of conducting these pre-trials was to identify and select talented participants for the finals of the Annual Sports Day. In addition to physical fitness, the event aimed to inculcate values of sportsmanship, teamwork, cooperation, discipline, and healthy competition among students.Faculty members and staff efficiently coordinated the event, ensuring adherence to rules and smooth conduct of all activities. Necessary arrangements related to safety, equipment, and scheduling were properly managed.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
