G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana

The third day of the NSS Seven Days Camp at G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana was conducted successfully with active participation of NSS volunteers. The activities were organized under the guidance of the Respected Officiating Principal, Dr. Shweta, and the leadership of Dr. Jaspal Kaur (Programme Officer NSS) and Dr. Neelam Rani (College Incharge, NSS). The day began with Physical Training (PT) exercises to promote fitness and discipline among volunteers.The main activities included a Pledge Ceremony on “Say No to Drugs”, followed by a Drug Awareness Rally and pamphlet distribution in the nearby village to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. A Tree Plantation Drive was also conducted to promote environmental conservation. Additionally, a Cleanliness Drive was carried out in the camp area and surrounding places to support the mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.The day was meaningful and productive, helping volunteers develop discipline, social responsibility, and environmental awareness, truly reflecting the NSS motto “Not Me, But You.”
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
