Second Day Report of 7-Day NSS Camp**The second day of the seven-day NSS Camp at G.H.G. Institute of Law, conducted from 29 January to 5 February 2026 under the guidance of Officiating Principal Dr. Shweta Dhand and leadership of Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Programme Officer, NSS, and Dr. Neelam Rani, College In-charge, NSS, began with a structured Physical Training (PT) session. The session focused on enhancing physical fitness, mental alertness, endurance, flexibility, and overall well-being, encouraging volunteers to develop self-discipline, resilience, and regularity—qualities essential for personal growth and responsible citizenship.The day continued with a “Say No to Drugs” pledge, where volunteers committed to leading a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. This activity raised awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, promoted ethical behavior, and highlighted the important role of youth in fostering a clean, socially responsible society, reminding volunteers of their moral and social responsibilities.Sports and recreational activities formed a major part of the day. Team games enhanced coordination, leadership, and teamwork skills, while fun activities promoted camaraderie, stress relief, and interpersonal bonding. A cycling event emphasized physical fitness, stamina, cardiovascular health, and environmental consciousness through eco-friendly commuting. These activities developed both physical and mental strength, along with problem-solving, communication, and cooperation skills.The day concluded with a cleanliness drive, during which volunteers actively cleaned the campus and surrounding areas, promoting hygiene, environmental responsibility, and community service. Overall, the second day successfully instilled discipline, teamwork, leadership, social awareness, and civic responsibility. Active participation and enthusiasm were evident throughout, and refreshments kept the volunteers energized. The volunteers expressed their determination to continue contributing positively to community welfare and nation-building in the coming days of the camp.
