G.H.G. Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd, an educational institution, running under the patronage of Shri Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust, organized ‘Jashn-e-Bahara’ , Farewell Party in the college premises on 24th April, 2025..
This function was organized especially for two outgoing classes B.A.LL.B. 10th semester and LL.B. 6th semester students. The junior students gave an emotional farewell to the senior students. A cultural program was full of dance performances. The modelling, talent hunt and question answer rounds of this event were especially noteworthy in which students show their skills, express their thoughts and feelings.
B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) 8th semester students Prabhjot Kaur and Dakshita Jain coordinated the stage efficiently. Games competition was also organized for the modelling participants.
In the modelling of B.A.LL.B. 10th semester, Sargunjot Kaur was declared “Miss Farewell” Shyna “First Runner Up” and Ayusha as “ Second Runner Up”.
Apart from this, students also won different titles namely Jugraj Kaur ‘Miss Shan-e-Batch’, Arshjot ‘Miss Beauty with Brain’, Vaibhavi ‘Miss Sunshine’, Isha Sood ‘Miss Most Creative’ and Mandeep Kaur won the title of ‘Beautiful Smile’.
Among LL.B 6th Semester students, Joe Frazier won the title of ‘Mr. Fresher’ and Bikramjit Singh won the title of ‘First Runner Up’. Among girl students, Harpreet Kaur grabbed the title of ‘Miss Fresher’ and Chanda Shah as ‘First Runner Up’.
Dr. Neelam Rani and Dr. Lovely Sharma were the judges of this Competition.
College Principal, Associate Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Dhand congratulated the winners and also congratulated the Event Incharges Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Dr. Neelam Rani, Dr. Lovely Sharma and Miss Charu Joshi. for successfully conducting this event.
The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Padam Bhushan Prof.(Dr.) Khem Singh Gill, former Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on Nineteenth day of December, 2005. This institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
